My counterpart in AP informed me that they do not have access to email certain folks on our team. This is how we learned which team members were terminated today. It’s a sad day.

It took about 2 hours for my email and IM to be nuked. And I am blocked from accessing this website now. I find that amusing. All good though. Good luck to those who are leaving and those left behind.
If you still have access forward a copy of anything you’ll want to keep to your personal outside email. LDEP is very useful when updating your resume. I recently retired so not sure if they’re still calling it LDEP.
Make you feel like a criminal after 20+ years of service. Email and IM access turned off. They first shutoff access to emailing your personal email with an LDEP or any information you may need. For all of us in the same boat, stay calm and give yourself time to process things. Things will get better but we have to weather the storm.
I feel nothing for the AP folks. They bid the jobs low causing my friends to be laid off, then they needed 2 for 1 to replace my analysts, so there never was a cost savings, but they got our jobs. No tears here.
Not surprisingly the Ford way persists, those on the friends and family plan still have email access and the hard working high achievers don’t have email access. One group does not a pattern make as our hard workers all were 20+ years experience, but I expect this will play out in more than one group.
How can you verify that your email is inactive without sending an email? I assume checking IM status?

Yep, seeing folks emails inactivated. One person immed a coworker and confirmed they were laid off.
