I'm in credit and cuts seemed to be all over the damn place today. Impossible to tell if specific areas/people were targeted first or how they'd rotate to other depts over the next few days. Has anyone been informed that cuts are totally done for your area? Sales and the field on our end seemed to be the hardest hit today.

If you are waiting for an all clear, you are in denial. When a company is booting, you or your boss can be next.
I'm hearing that this isn't the first wave. So an "all clear" now may not be a thing saying that it's done. Bloomberg reported in July that they're expecting up to 8,000 people to be cut by the end of things.
On top of this, the CEO said at a conference in Feb that the company has "too many people" to be able to turn a profit,
Assuming all cuts will be done by today. Town Hall tomorrow to address all questions and give the all clear
News reported 3k cuts this week. 2k salary and 1k contractors. It'll take to at least until Thursday to give everyone the bad news. Bad news that you no longer have a job and bad news that those that got a temporary reprieve now have to do the jobs of 5 people.
So 3000 cuts Mon, Tues, Wed of this week. Then all clear for this year? Who knows…
And what about Salaried employees who are UAW represented? They are few, but those areas may want or need to be addressed by the company. Areas such as BodyCAD. No word on them yet…
No official all clear until Thursday. And that’s just for this week. If the 8000 number is correct, we’re not even half done. Rougher seas ahead.
Yes some people/groups have already gotten an all clear today. I don't want to get any more specific than that.
As many people as seemed that got cut today, I doubt it will go on with this much intensity for much longer. I'm sure management wants to get it over with as quickly as possible too.

usually when all is done, a notification email will be sent out from LL2/LL3, claiming the reorganization is complete, at least that's what happened in 2019.
