Do your upper management send out a meeting invite or were you IM'ed for an on the spot meeting? I feel sorry for those that lost their jobs and the way the company approached this. The uncertainty of not knowing is ki----g me.

I was contacted telepathically by Jim Hackett sitting in a professor X chair saying that it's all about mutant centered design, then I woke up.
Then I was IM'd.
Then I was Xcommunicated.
Now l don't know if I am a mutant butterfly or out of work?
IT here. I received a meeting notice late Sunday night with a 1-1 early morning meeting from my managers’s manager. It couldn’t have lasted more than 3 minutes. Read from the script and asked for my person email address.
I received a meeting invite in Outlook for 9:30 1:1 with LL4 (she has never even spoken to me). Then about 5 minutes later sent me an IM with Meet Now link.
Hey has anyone compared separation docs? Did we all get the same?
My LL5, whom I hadn’t met yet, IM’ed me with “You have a minute?” Then I was let go. Absolutely no notice. It looked like he was reading a script!
Were the notifications for the 1:1 sent via the IM and the meeting happened immediately or were the 1:1 sent a few hours prior to the actual meeting?
Sorry to hear about the 2 posters who lost their positions.
My boss’s boss sent me a 1:1 invite. He never does that. He did it right after the Announcement. It was pretty obvious what was about to happen.
Please take this as friendly advice. If you are that worried, you should look for a different job whether you get cut or not.
