AT&T has a lot more Miltons than Bill Lumberghs. There are two coworkers in my department who act exactly like Milton!
The company lacks a clear and concise strategy for the future. Until the top management is changed out to some leaders with clear visions it will continue to flounder. Stock under $18 this morning . . . . . .
Productivity numbers are work quotas. By definition the minimum number required is all that you need to meet to be in good standing each day. There’s zero incentive to do more. The company has set the expectations by setting the quota.
I know this will be downvoted to oblivion, but don't you think the company has someone read this board daily and make notes? Bragging about not doing anything and having no work doesn't seem like the right strategy not to be laid off while posting on a layoff board. Just a thought.
This is AT&T. Failed T Mobile merger $$$$$. T Mobile used the cash infusion and spectrum allocation to build their wireless network. (Oh shiht Randell Shpectrum Stevenson). Bought DirecTV and sold at a loss $$$$$. Warner Media purchase, SOLD at (Let us guess) a loss $$$$$. Employees could not cost this company this kind of debt if they tried. Only "Leadership" has that capability.
