Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Are we going to get compensation due to inflation?

Everything is so much more expensive due to inflation.

It's hard to make ends meet. Especially for us at the lower end of the payscale.

The ones defending our abuse in any capacity (fear of losing job, fear of hurting someone’s feelings, etc) over what is right and true, will suffer until they take control
Of their own lives again. Your lack mentalities are helping oppress us.

Complain some more and be selfish about what you do get cuz before you know it your job will be automated or done much cheaper in another country. Unemployment will be much less!

Inflation is hardly ever negative. The only way it gets there is when the FRB cooks the books and ignores things people have to buy to live.

During his Town Hall, Scharf said raises would be higher across the board due to inflation and they are considering doing more.

But SVB is saying only those making min. wage will see an increase.

Get your stories straight, execs!

Come on, Man! Inflation is at Zero.

When I was a tough scrappy kid (in Scranton!) we had it twice as hard as you. My dad was a hard working, coal shoveling, blue collar man!

Saul VB said pay adjustments ONLY if you are paid less than minimum wage... he said those who make more than minimum wage are doing well....his words! Guess because he's paid a high salary and bonus he assumes we aren't touched by the today's high cost of everything.....I wonder if he has a clue how groceries have doubled in price.....hmmm

people always want an increase when inflation rises but never bring up asking for a decrease when inflation is negative. as already stated, if everyone got an inflationary raise them inflation would never improve. we need to get to a point where people stop spending.

NO. Firm never has adjusted for inflation or cost of living.

Spending has to be controlled in order to combat inflation. Hence the reason for the interest rate hike. Slowing the market. Paying more money so everyone can pay the higher inflated prices would be counterproductive.

Joe said it's 0%, what's the problem? When they say inflation is gone, you better believe it. Or else.

"Inflation is coming down,..."

It was, but with the new student loan forgiveness, inflation may go up again
