Yes. PIPs start in September and go three months so layoffs right before Christmas!

Yes. They might not be called layoffs, but they essentially are layoffs. We are like a dysfunctional relationship. The company is too chicken to say “I am breaking up with you. I won’t say the words, but I’ll make your life a living he-l in the hopes you will be so unhappy, you’ll just do the breaking up for me.”

Meanwhile, the smarter employee is plotting their retirement, leaving strategy, or PIP response. Sadly, the die hard employee is anxiety filled and continues to beat their head against a wall trying to prove their worth.

Just look at the LInkedIn postings over the last several months of people that are posting their "I no longer work for XOM pictures" especially those in front of the cube in Houston.

PIP's, PIL's, NSI, and NI are on-going and will continue for the next several years.

Yes, they are still running off REs, experienced hires, young oddball who don't fit the mold and other undesirables through the phony PIP system.
