Trucks are getting backed up but not allowed to stack in the top steal. So we just drive around in circles till someone drops something. Any other clubs having this problem? I get paid by the hour so I say just say let the trucks wrap around the building if that’s what home office wants.

Boss could believe it took 2.5 hours to unload a 30 pallet paper truck....every time I went to steel I had to remove the 1 foot high pallet in the top steel and rearrange....how about a cbl on how to safely and effectively rack product in steel?? I know its common sense....but apparently not everyone gets it!! And yeah we need to hire a pallet separator....absurd!!!
No stacking in the top steel? Sounds good to me. Let the DC trucks be behind by the dozens. We can actually work on Claims for once.
Same at our club. I DO NOT walk by receiving, long terms gone that knew what what they were doing so unsafe. I don't even know how management can stand by and see this and not freak out. Sams club is not worth ur life. And really it's not that the new people's fault they don't know, no one to teach them. You guys it was not like this years ago, yes I know again im a long term but have nothing to do with receiving. Funny thing is someone can say they have x amount of years and make bank, no one checks on there creditionals. Ridiculous.
I agree, there will be a catastrophic accident with the unsafe stacking and the amount of weight that we have in all of the steel. We also have zero room and it is utterly ridiculous trying to unload trucks. This company REALLY needs to get their sh*t together!!!!
And now we can drive around and separate blond pallets from chep pallets because chep pallet program going bye bye. SMH.
Our trucks get unloaded and put in the steel. Each morning it is a race between receiving and the forklift merch to see who can get to the empty spots first. Inexperienced drivers are continually stacking poorly in the steel not only due to lacking experience but the hurry to rack everything with nowhere to rack it. Someone is going to get hurt and it will be the fault of Home Office and the local management who push us to do the impossible.
