Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Rental car policy??

Does National cut off your preferred ExxonMobil rate if you quit???

Not a huge deal but it is nice.

National regularly audits a percentage of the folks using the corporate code via the rental receipts. They have travel contacts in Procurement they can check with to ensure the code is not being abused.

Just like how it was in the old days, “don’t ask, don’t tell”

They don't automatically remove it, but there is an insurance policy associated with it. If you get in a wreck, and they find out you aren't an employee, the legal cards are heavily stacked against you. You have to decide if it's worth the risk.

Friend should figure this for himself. Perhaps check if new employer have negotiated rate with car rental company. If not, check the AAA rates.

Since it is for employees and retirees only, what do you think? No wonder we PIPed you!
