Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Electronic Solutions Eng Underabsorption

Email last night warning about costs exceeding revenue and that the balance must be zero by year-end. Looks like the ESE RevCOGS incentives aren’t meeting expectations.

Rinse and repeat. That is a constant, until cost (mainly Dev/Eng) is near zero in US. Left out the R in RDE as there isn't much R going on; milk the existing products is the main theme, until we run out

Every quarter "leader$hi!" teams at each SBG pull out their list of "specials" (borderline ethical/legal actions to "make the quarter"). That they haven't run out of those after 20 years is astounding. That the auditors or SEC haven't caught them yet is incompetence. What Honeywell needs is a good whistleblower. Anonymous or otherwise.

The most important quarter in Honeywell history is the current one. Day 1 of new quarter nothing you did matters. What are you going to do now? Row slave!!!!

Is there ever a quarter where we dont have an issue?
How could last quarter be great and this quarter be "we are losing money!!!!!"
Do we still get monday as a holiday in US or was that cancelled?

That wording conjures images of an old white guy in a diaper and a hospital gown.
