Got a call today was my last day as a recruiter with hertz. Tacky Wacky. After we had a call a week ago saying there was plenty of work for us to do.

They literally just told us last week no more reductions in workforce
Hard to feel sorry for a recruiter. They should have just stopped paying you and never answered any of your inquiries.
Huge layoffs across the board. CEO has to make Q3 numbers so cuts are the only way. Revenue is not there. RPD dropping and bookings way down. Travel is slowing so no need for rentals. More layoffs coming.

Did they say why you were chosen to be one of the people they layed off? I'm curious as why they chose who they did.
When they told you there was plenty of work to do that’s a major red flag for that company. They specialize in smoke and mirrors.
