Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Best path...

The best thing you can do is to get fired right now! They may fight you on unemployment benefits but won't win. Unemployment benefits are much longer than their severance.
I wish you all would have listened when you were warned, I did! Got fired. They tried to fight but lost, no surprise. Unemployment plus pandemic pay, added up fast and lasted long! Well on my way in my new career, company car, benefits, etc that far surpass Mondelez.

And...if you take the severance, you lose your rights. Have a professional review.

This has been posted many times.

1-4 years of employment-1 week of pay per year of service.

5+ years of employment-2 weeks of pay per year of service.

Last I heard it's capped at 13 years, so the most anyone gets is 26 weeks of pay.
