I have not been tagged for talent movement or any of the sort. I joined this May. I am already worried about LR.. Is it something that I should be concerned or nothing burger?
Anyone who has experience with Cisco LR can shed some light on this?

OP - Cisco usually gives a grace period of 2 years before they would start LR-ing anyone. >So, you should be OK if you only started last May unless you sc--w up big time. That is for acquisition (staffs acquired) to my understanding for now. HR may push back if managers put a new(early in the career) college grade on the list without very strong performance related reason. But, other than that, everyone are eligible to be put on the list by your managers
Cisco Collaboration only
Very exciting for this news. Super happy to be off for the holidays
19 people will be LR'ed in my BU on Nov 19.
I was told of the momentum of internal transfers. Then, expect LR will happen soon. Those folks starting to move for a reason.
Yes
@rbg+1j1cluJR you sound like a disgruntled employee. Its easy to sh-t talk a company once you left.

Serious discourse? I hope you’re kidding.
There is no LR planned.
November layoff? Who told you? You had a dream last nite? If you're so worried, ask your manager or hr. No Nov layoff anyway at least for a few years anyway

Keep your head down, click your heels when you see management types and ki$$ as many a$$es as you can and you should be set for life. And if that is not your cup of tea, do what I did - start looking for a suitable better work environment while you still can - on your own terms - and then leave for a better, more peaceful future. I still visit this website from time to time and am disappointed, but not surprised at how things appear to be going steadily downhill at Cisco. Not unexpected, but still not nice. Once a great company who built the internet based on their workers' loyalty and pride, now a withering shadow of their former self eating the same workers' hearts out.
