Nepotism and favoritism are more prominent here today than they have ever been. I am watching how these two things are rapidly destroying a company that used to be a very different work environment. But how to put an end to it? I wonder if there is even still a way to do so. Unfortunately, Intel looks more and more like a lost cause to me.

No. I worked there for 20 years and was a top performer according to my kpis and reviews. I saw less qualified candidates with smaller job scopes promoted over me and it took me a while to figure out why... The Sr. Leadership was getting bonused for diversity and no matter what I said, some reason was given for average performers to get the promo. I am a huge supporter for diversity done right (STEM, hiring the best of the best, promoting rock stars). However, when it became a numbers game and merit was discarded, I decided it was No country for white men. Leaving was hard but was the best decision ever.
Simple. Fire every indian director and VP.
We're way past that. At this point it needs a reset. We know that's not gonna happen. lol! Its been going on for years. If they addressed it at the beginning, it would've been fixable.
Probably not going to change. HR are also their people.
