Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Quiet quitting

Intel is failing because all new hires are quiet quitting. Do you know anybody under 30 who's giving it their all at work? I certainly don't. They never work a minute longer than their official hours and heavens forbid they work on a weekend when something has to be done in time. No company can remain successful with such a workforce.

Fake news. Not my experience at all.

Working overtime should be something occasionally done; it shouldn’t be a bandaid for a staff shortage.

How can you forget threatening everyone with their job over the v a x x? That was just months ago. I didn’t forget.

Who selected BK among so many candidates? It was Andy Bryant - Intel chairman at that time.
Andy Bryant later kicked him out using BK affairs...
Who picked Bob Swan? Andy Bryant - Intel chairman at that time.

Andy Bryant is the person from my point that should be blame as well.

No incentive to work harder. Raises and promotions are based on time schedule like the US postal service, doesn't matter how far above and beyond you go.

: @wyo+1j1z7Vfl. I don't think anyone can repair the damages done by ACT2015-16. Not only lots of experienced people were dumped, it also created a low morale etc among those stayed behind. The company never recovered.

Stopping work after your work day and having a weekend isn’t quiet quitting, it’s just working during the time you were hired for.

Quiet quitting is the result of those unreasonable managers. They are disencouraging non-Indian workers.

It is because of BK all the sincere workers are gone and now the company has had to replace them with those quiet quitters! BK has left a lasting impact.

Agreed that BK is old news.

Responsibility is fully on Pat now as he has had enough tenure to fix things.

Things aren’t getting fixed and that’s totally on him.

blaming BK is fake news and an excuse. BK's leadership was terrible, but he wasn't the only cr---y CEO.

Intel needs to repair the giant crater created by BK’s nuclear ACTs.
