Probably you will get now. After layoff news.
It won't be voluntary so if you're looking for a payout you better hope your quiet quitting wasn't so quiet!
In a typical industry people leave and new hires come. We have slowed down hiring and number of people leaving higher than hiring.
Ask the people you heard the rumor from, then let us know.
I know many people would love to get a buyout, but haven't heard about anyone actually getting one since ACT.
