Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Stock Price

When will the stock price fall below $15. Stankey and Stephenson have driven the company off a cliff. Stephenson is out with over $200 million in the bank, and Stankey is pulling out $20 million a year with the goal of having as much as Randall. The BOD is just a rubber stamp and is under complete control of Stankey!

Expect at least two more declines this year:

  1. After another bad quarter earnings release. No amount of benefit reduction, surplus and retirements can help future-looking HR-related expense. And bad cash flows with a high dividend and rising interest on bad debt doesn’t help either.
  2. After fund managers and private investors take tax harvests at EOY because of the large losses this year. Thought they were buying on the low back at $20.

Expect the same for the lame-duck Warner stock too.

Good thing you don't own AT&T stock.

AT&T stock is down 62% under Stephenson and Stankey. I wonder what percentage these 2’s bank accounts have gone up.

Most mutual funds cannot hold a stock that goes under $10 a share. Those stocks are considered uninvestable.

Before that, the brilliant Stink will try a 2 for 1 reverse split, which will drive the stock price down even more!

The is what GE did.

BOD did you catch the latest quote on T share price at $14.90?
You guys are slipping! You know it's time to mark this milestone with another bonus of $2M to Stankey. This guy is good, please start giving him the respect he has earned and deserves. You are not doing your job.

We ended the week under $14. At what point will the mutual fund be forced to sell their ATT stock?

It just seems like everytime we turn around the BOD is trying to stuff another huge bonus down Stankeys throat. Cannot understand why, what's he done for you lately besides racking up $135B in debt!

1 years Stankey salary would buyout 200 employees on the Voluntary Separation Benefit. And the company would save on benefits, vehicles, managing employees etc an equal amount. Maybe give Johnny a year of E-Time and use that money for some good .

Too many VPs and above are failing and being paid too much! Stankey has not given any positive return to investors, but continues to be handsomely compensated.

If the Stink had not cut the dividend what would it be today? 18%?
Can't wait to see the price drop another $10 when the dividend payout is probably 28% and
StinkMonger cuts the dividend again to near 4%.
Under the Stinks leadership (laugh) the dividend policy is cut the dividend when it exceeds 8%. Now that's some smart dividend policy.

The key number might be $14.03 (another 7% decline). That’s when the Market Cap should drop below $100B. The Street and big investment houses will not like that. TMUS is $173B and VZ (even in their free fall) is $155B, so T isn’t in the same ballgame.

Can’t sustain the already reduced dividend with the cash flow problem and rising rates on ridiculous Randall/Stankey DTV and TW debt. Cutting employees didn’t fix the problem 10 years ago when surplus became an annual “close the gap” initiative and it’s not fixing the problem now.

Obviously Wall Street believes that ATT is a loser. Why shouldn’t I ? Really give us reasons to believe this is a stock we can believe in . The dividend is not important if the stock keeps dropping. Reasons ?

Won't be long now. Every day is another Fidelity notification on my phone that T has hit a new 52-week low.
