Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

What's up with CX Cloud?

Can anyone tell me why this is still a thing? Who uses it? I don't see growth in any direction -- customer adoption, feature release, field interest ...

It seems that 2 years ago V2MOMa was telling everyone that this is the way ... but the way to where? This seems like such a road to nowhere.

TC "quit"? Or did MM say "Go find another job"

MM hasn't delivered 20% of her goals. TC tried to make CXPM take the blame. MM has to deliver. TC's move is a downgrade. MM gave him a bone - allows him to stay on through end of year to reap his Nov & Dec RSUs.

TC just quit, he was the internal salesman selling the snake oil about cx cloud…something that’s been in release for 3 years now but has little to show for it in terms of revenue and features. All the features came from bcs albeit with a prettier front end. They have effectively spent 3 years in developing the ux and spent $100’s million. MM has been trying to make it the center piece of all cisco gear sold.

But now with JD taking the realms of majority of products, meraki dashboard is probably going to be pushed as the centerpiece for all networking and data centre products. Wonder which product will come on top?

Head of Product - Gone
Head of Growth - Gone

Growth rate stalled

its horrible and when we pitch it the customer just stares us like "really" , DNAC is a total trainwreck full of bugs. We are all miserable but some reason leaders think its ok and just keep beating us till we say nothing. Not much fun now.

Most of the workers are putting in minimal work efforts expecting huge pay outs and raises and when it is combined with terrible business decisions, supply chain issues, and low pay and moral this is a recipe for mass exodus of the brightest and the best to places where they can make a difference.

ESG is garbage and implementing it at the cost of your client base is super short sighted but hey we check the diversity boxes and make all the blue haired weirdos feel included. Look at Paypal trying to fine you $2500 for misinformation. That never even made it an inch before massive pushback.

I may have worked on CX Cloud until recently. I mean, there isn't a singular product called "CX Cloud". There's many applications stitched together. I can see how the app I worked on fits into the solution, but it's a nightmare getting all the pieces together. Can't see how it's profitable.

i left cisco more than a year ago.. but last i heard, DNAC were coming up with their own management offering, which was independent of CX Cloud. CX Cloud was supposed to target big customers and whatever dnac was coming up with was specific to dnac. Both has different tech stacks and roadmap. cx cloud was a hodge podge of an application that appeased a lot of DE/PEs in the group.

It’s entertaining to watch Success Tracks and CX team continue to struggle with lifecycle and «cloud» offerings.

The licensing and services offerings are not even comprehensible for our customers. Even sales nor CX can explain this in a simple manner.

They are desperate to sell this - pushing the field hard. It needs DNAC to work, and apparently CX never asked if many customers are using DNAC. The answer would be no :) CX Cloud (aka success tracks) will probably die when V2 moves on to her next gig.
