Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Don't trust them!

I don't want to raise panic and I don't have any information about layoffs, but considering my experience here, I just want to give advice to others to never believe if the boss tells them that there will be no cuts, because the cuts at HON never stop!

It is always wiser not to stop looking for new opportunities than to rely on reassuring promises that everything will be fine, because it wouldn't be the first time that they promise no cuts, and the cuts follow soon after.

Can someone share the basic subject issue concerning the email about engines?
Use to work there and now that I'm at another plant I don't get those emails.

HELP IS ON THE WAY........yeah, the FTE headcount is listed and posted by HR Leaders' and reassurance to the staff that the position will be filled to ease the workload.

Now deep down that requires a signature from the P & L owner with approval from a line of business President. Keep that FTE on the books and carry the cash over to performance bonus at the end of the quarter. NEVER fill that position just book that to CASH!

HW prides itself on leading industries in employee (FTE or headcount) reductions. Beginning of pandemic- People were furloughed RIF'd by the 1000's HW feared the Rona COULD impact business so they said let's get ahead of this, way ahead and get rid of them.

If they smell a recession time to implement plan R. Doesn't matter what backlog they have or delivery problems. Cut, cut, CUT!

I am always astounded (almost impressed) by the ability of our director to look us in the eye whilst telling us such wild lies and then have the b_a_lls to tell us how he has such high morals. This guy has NEVER made a decison that has been in the interest of the team! Worst still is that some of my increasingly not so bright colleagues (the smart ones have left or been removed) believe him every time!
