PTO paid out after quitting

Does anyone know the company’s policy on this? I want to make sure I don’t get screwed over. I’m supposed to have 10 days left

Aren't sick days treated as pto as a rep? Just call in until you use them up. Reps around never had an issue strong arming their way to their pto.

As always, vacation needs to be approved. If you get let go, put in a request and cross your fingers. With lots of black out time at year end and rules governing PTO, I'd start making plans now.

Just give your notice and stipulate that you are using all your products before end of employment

When is your region going live? And where are you located.

company policy is what applies and if you aren't employed you don't get PTO. Every rep I've known that has been terminated, uses the PTO before they leave otherwise they lose it. You will be screwed, sorry.

You have time left?!

Our rms/dm is practically forcing everyone to use it up before the end of the year. Not too mention making us use our pto if we’re under 40. Sorry you’re at 39.9hrs going to have to put you down for a half day of pto. Looks like I’m going to stop skipping my breaks! Dm tells me I don’t get paid breaks 😳

Like the previous person stated, might boil down to the state. Last job I left, even though I had 3 weeks of vaca on paper, only paid me out for the time accrued. Worked half the year, only earned 1.5 weeks.

Depending on your state it could depend on State Law regardless of what the company policy is.
