Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

To the Honeywell HR/PR People Monitoring this Site

Tell the managers that we hope they are happy. Their selfish decision will cause a hardship to many employees. But as long as they get their bonuses, they really don't care. Most of them have no idea what it's like to live paycheck to paycheck.

Instead of wasting billions of dollars on stock buybacks to artificially inflate the stock price, next time use that money to keep employees working so they can afford to feed their families and pay their mortgage!

Happy holidays to those who will continue having no problems getting through them. Enjoy them knowing you are doing so by stepping on the backs of your hard working, dedicated employees. Hope it's worth it!

Good luck to all the employees who may not fare so well through the holidays because management is incapable of managing.

Also, please feel free to down vote this. Everyone knows what you're doing and it is absolutely PATHETIC!

They don't care. Senior leadership and executives will get their money and stocks while laying off people. It's horrible.

Lol, I bring my breakfast, lunch, and coffee from home. My refinanced my car payment so thankfully it's less than $200. My car insurance is more than my car payment. As is my electric bill. I cut the cable and get the $30 credit for my internet. I've never had an iPhone and use a prepaid carrier so my phone payment is not too bad. Haven't eaten in a restaurant in months, unless I had been invited. Nice try, but s--t's expensive and this furlough will hurt many people.

If it's really that bad at Honeywell, it's time to get out. If you work a skilled position at Honeywell and are living paycheck to paycheck, it's time to learn financial literacy. Stop living above your means: $1k iPhones, $7 Starbucks every day, $700 per month car payment, $12 per day eating out, et al.

Also thanks for not spending anything other than token money on R&D so that now we have nothing new to sell and all the industry talent is gone. With every aging product now milked to death and customers spotting a repackaged dinosaur a mile off, where are we to go! Oh, lets reduce the teams even further, more important to temporarily stack financials for the all important executive bonus. We are now past the point of no return.
The only way forward now is a drastic scale down (which is on its way if you have not figured that out yet) and new leadership which also runs the very high risk of a like for like swap as per every single leadership change in the last 6 years.
