If there'll be no layoffs soon, when will the next round of PIPs start?

Yes, off cycle PIPs can happen, but they‘re preceded with clues that they’re coming. You have to flat out not do your job in order for it to happen. If that’s the case then you deserve it. Your peers shouldn’t have to carry your dead weight.

Off cycle PiPs can happen, but you really gotta be a thorn in someone’s side for HR to have any sort of inclination to act. You will find out about your PiP during PiP season.

The word on the street is that recruiting has been told that they can replace 25% of staff lost to attrition in the previous quarter. No layoffs are required given the rate of attrition and recruiting targets. The powers that be have a happy accident that they are milking for all they are worth while blaming attrition on everything they can think of.

PIP timing doesn’t change. It always follows assessment results. They’re typically communicated anywhere from late July/early Aug through the cutoff around end of September.

Even if DW says no layoffs, there can still be layoffs.

DW will not apologize for lying about it.

Just predicting future based on past.

I heard they were going to publicly own up to PIPs being layoffs, and they’re going to announce further WFRs.

All the big operators are freezing hiring and/or getting rid of people, all wile making record profits. Don’t blame Biden; blame your di-----k boss.
