HR is useless and union reps are clueless.
What is the minimum age plus years of service to get medical benefits. I read magic number 75 or 73 minimum age 50? I have 24 years and I’m 45. I really don’t want to stay another 5 years here.

I’m union now for 30 years and feel retired the whole time, go UNION.
work untill you die, it is the capitalist way
you must be 50 years old and have at least 25 years for medical
Seems like with the number of miserable old timers here, you have to work until the end.
No pension = you're screwed
What about us with no pension???
After 24 years here and you don’t know the specifics around your retirement and pension? Knowing this information should be your highest priority and you shouldn’t go to a site like this for answers.
30 years any age, or 55 years old with at least 20 years and their is no penalty . magic number 75.
IF you are under 55 without 30 years , you will recieve a 6% penalty per year that youre under that age. so a guy or gal at 50 with 25 years can retire and start collecting a pension but it will be reduded by 30%.
At your age you gotta hit 30 years
Yeah, I’m in the old Valhalla. It’s terrible the way it’s run these days. Too much nepotism and lack of care for performance.
Go to about you, and check your pension…..it will tell you your pension ready date….you must be at least 50 I believe without 30 years
Suck it up
Are you in Valhalla?
Welcome to having golden handcuffs. I am sure holding out for 5 more years would be worth it financially.
