I've been following this forum for some time now and it's really noticeable that people generally try to rationalize the decisions made by our leaders. Why do people do that? It's futile. It is impossible to rationalize most of their moves.

Was the quote a response to a question or part of the prepared remarks?
Rationalize this statement by the President of Upstream at a forum yesterday:
“Keep up with your training so that when your affiliate is sold, you will be relevant to the purchasing company.”
Where the F do you see that? You must be mixing up this board and LinkedIn
Yeah definitely some defenders of the faith here. Suspect there's a variety of reasons that can explain it.
Some are probably trying to rationalize their own decisions to stick with EM. Some are trolls. Some may legitimately be in a decent spot at EM and don't understand the complaints. Some people are inherently willing to tolerate more BS than most. And some are probably the leaders themselves, who in general combine all of the above qualities.
Blind hope that it'll get better. It won't though.
