Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

GNT All Hands Laughable

Same old script, nothing new. Keep the fires burning and your CATAs down and all will work out fine. BS and nothing new. This frog is boiling in hot water and doesn't have a clue.

There are always more cuts and always rah rah meaningless all hands to get everyone all hyped on on the kool aid. It is how corporations survive when they aren’t growing.

Mgt’s main goal to keep up morale and ensure the remaining workforce work their as--s off to cover for the RIF’d personnel. Hence, all their words are complete BS. Needless to say for anyone who remains: work on your resume. More cuts to come in 2023 (hearing q1).

GNT Leadership is a joke. So, not surprising. All Hands meetings are pointless. Use that time to take a nap.

Yes, I remember Kodak. They were flying high in the seventies. I think they may have gone bankrupt! It just goes to show, I wonder if VZ will be the next Worldcom? Flying high one day, in bankruptcy court the next.

Verizon is like Kodak of the 70s/80s. Stuck thinking there’s still some premium to the brand and that your sh--s smell like roses. We outside of Vz just laugh. What a freaking joke. 🤣🤣🤣

Same ‘ol $hit…Verizon will not lower its wireless plans to be competitive with T-Mo who is much cheaper to every consumer that is living in this reality called inflation. A penny saved is a penny earned and the customers are fleeing Verizon to the competition. But hey, Verizon is a premium service to the last few remaining customers. Lynn would rather retain those two or three customers Verizon does have than add 700K plus new customers like T-Mo.
