Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

I've been with Intel for two years, and if things are to go as expected, I'll be here for another three or four more. But with the coming layoffs, you never know. I just hope layoffs are different than in my last company. I was called into a meeting and then after I was told I was cut I was escorted out like a common criminal. I wasn't able to grab my stuff or say goodbye to my coworkers. It was all-around awful.
