Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Layoffs are going just like five nodes in four years- Talk!

It’s coming up on two years but where are those nodes ?

It looks like 10nm narrative, it’s cu----g really!

Just like layoffs all talk but no action. You’d think layoffs are easier to execute than EUV, OPC and stuff like that! But dang, the competence across the organization is admirable!

If you are at Intel you are too stupid to be there because the process, and it is a process, has begun.

  1. People have two weeks to volunteer to be considered to separate from Intel.
  2. Management will review those volunteers and decide who to extend the option to and who to say you are too important for us to let go too.
  3. After these voluntary separations are done groups will have to decide what they are ZBBing and who, unfortunately, can be let go.
  4. The folks who are put in to this group will be reassigned to the CPM group for 9 weeks and given help with their resume and assistance finding internal or external opportunities. If after 9 weeks they haven't found something they will be separated with the severance package.

This isn't Twitter. Intel is humane and strategic.
