Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Verizon's highest priority is cost savings

Those in power don't care about the quality of our products or the needs of our customers. They just want to get the job done as cheaply as possible, which is why they're always focused on cutting corners and making things cheaper instead of better. And why we always have layoffs. Verizon is a company that is driven by greed and we are always caught in the crosshairs.

Cost cutting is not going to increase the Verizon share price. Increase the market share is what channels growth and a respective higher share price.

Get rid of diversity hires that bring nothing to the business. Withdraw from social justice programs that don’t work. Stop making people volunteer. Billions saved problem solved!

Based on corporate results Hans and his executive team don't know how to compete in any economy.

Found out today that the increase in my 2023 property taxes is more than my wage raise this year. This company is a joke to work for.

Hans the skinny jeans cu-t doesn't care if he ruins this company. He is still going to get paid big money regardless.
Gets on these all hands meetings with his cronies and act like he cares about people like when he got all emotional talking about George Floyd I believe. Well get up there now and shed a few tears for laying off employees because of your incompetence

Market share doesn't matter as much in a saturated market, because two or three of the participants will trade a few percentages. What matters is cost-effective production think CAC/CLV. Most people here don't think in these terms, so it's very emotional.

Good Luck,

Sorry pal, cost cutting to the tune of $5B over the next 12 months is priority one. Nothing else even comes close. Hans is he-l bent on this commitment to wall street and the BOD, his bonus is dependent on it.

Highest priority is gaining market share thus to increase the number of smartphone accounts/contracts. Then it is to be able to pay and raise the corporate stock dividend. Then it is cost savings to maintain the quarterly stock dividend.
