Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Years of service for layoff package

Joined Intel in 2014, left in 2018 and joined back in 2019. Is my previous stint from 2014-2018 included in years of service for layoff package calculation?

48 months is the bridge...anything more doesn't count towards years in service.

It's in workday, my understanding is you can only break employment with Intel once and no longer than 48 months to keep previous years of service (may differ by geo)

Yea you would get credit for all years worked. I rejoined Intel after 5.5 years away and was told that after 5 years my prior service isn't counted.

It is based on your continuous service date which can be seen in workday --- Personal Information. No need to guess. If you were paid severance in last period they have state you won't be paid again.

Isn't rejoining within 24 months the limit for bridging two service periods?

Isn't your years of continuous service on WorkDay? Please correct me if I'm wrong 'cos that's what I'm using in my calculation.

Less than 6 month between periods, it's included. More than 6 months not included.
