After being RIF'd out of the blue, despite stellar performance, the day after I signed all the paperwork, I terminated my and all of my family's VZ Wireless plans and FiOS service, and enrolled with AT&T Wireless. Encouraged all of my extended family to do the same, and most have now switched to either T-Mobile or AT&T wireless.

Being kicked in the nuts after 25 years with VZ has turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I'm now with an employer who appreciates their employees, does not have continuous never-ending RIFs, and I am actually making more $$$.

Well I think it's fine, building Jumbo planes
Or taking a ride on a cosmic train
Switch on summer from a slot machine
Get what you want to if you want, 'cause you can get anything

I know we've come a long way
We're changing day to day
But tell me, where do the children play?

Lol I ask this anytime there is a skip level or upper management asks if there is something we need. The answer I’ve gotten is that the router we provide doesn’t have enough lan ports. Which is either a lie or customer’s can’t have more than 1 device connected via cable. Which can be easily remedied with your own router.

So funny that you're not allowed to use our 5G cband boxes for your internet if you work for the company at home. It's not allowed for CS or TS to use the product that we sell for work. lol

He may be right but op, your point is well taken. It’s was poor form to bring it up publicly.

Verizon’s biggest mistake was selling our towers for a vendor to take care of…..I’m about to jump ship as I can no longer take calls inside my home. My rates went up, and my service went down. We are no longer the best. We are no longer worth the premium price.

He’s right. But all of my children are on T-Mobile plans not Verizon.
