Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Leadership is d-mb as a box of rocks

How are they going to enforce RTO for only hybrid employees when so many people are remote/home based and working on the same teams as hybrid employees? It’s going to create so much animosity between team members and no way are employees who’ve been working from home going to be happy to come in.

How is it fair some people in the same job functions get to work from home and others need to come in? No way people are going to be happy staying here when pay is already so low compared to competitors.

I don't get the feeling the bank cares if people leave. Most people can be replaced or in many cases not replaced.

HR itself can’t be consistent on who is coded at hybrid vs WFH. Look through the directory, it’s a complete mess in that department.

If the manager is not willing to say the words “you need to come to the bank office as a condition of employment” then I would continue to work remote. Make them put it on writing as well to make them squirm.

Elfio (I know you read these posts)— The RTO topic is not going to die. Stop saying it’s a non issue for employees. It’s an F’ing issue. Just because other banks are being jerks to their employees with RTO does not mean you have to follow their lead.

Life isn't fair. Explain to me why WFH employees that live in certain states and cities, solely based on their geographic location, get paid 7, 14, 21% more than peers doing the same exact jobs elsewhere.
