We are no longer allowing customers to sit in COR stores. All of our chairs - and I mean ALL of them, are cracked and nasty. Kinda like that slide on the playground that as a kid you took the risk. You know, the one with a sc--w or two hanging out and you did your best to just " deal " with it. Well that's the case in our store. Had a customer snap off half a barstool the other day, and the jagged edge it left behind nearly gave them another crack in their bottom side. So a typical round table has 4 chairs. We are down to two per table. Customers ask why don't we get more chairs ? We tell them that our company cannot afford them. But we got these really neat equality shirts that make things better. We also have the most horrid x-mas displays that we toss in the trash every year. What we really need is a go fund a COR store relief fund for chairs.

Your manager simply needs to reach out the corporate real estate/facilities person for your market and they will order you new chairs. Of course, if your manager was smart, they would have done this one chair at a time as they broke, rather than wait until half are broken and now you need 8 chairs at one time....at the end of the year at that. May have to wait to January, but you have no chairs because your RSM, and I assume ARSM, are incompetent.
We just received all new chairs at my store. The previous ones were a liability issue for sure.
We are down to 1 chair per table. I usually take the chair and let the customer stand.

Pay the shipping and it's yours. Never wore it because I had too much work AT WORK to go visit a customer & do THE WORK for a marketeer who was compensated for selling but too busy to visit his customer because he was busy drinking at a bar with a higher paying customer.
Take some of those christmas boxes they sent for floor decor and stack”em at the tables!
