Probably a comment from an hourly technician.

"working across the isle and getting things done." .. thanks for the laugh, as if republicans want that. Hilarious! :D

Why does it matter? A lot of you will not be in the company to see it happen. Lol.

Should take about a year to bleed the remaining cash out. So probably Q1 2024.

He is Intel’s savior. He knows the pathway to future success. He is pushing leaders to perform and execute and it’s showing. He is the next Steve Jobs. I truly believe it. Stay patient friends.

Love the previous comment about mandatory retirement age for politicians - I think 70 years old or 12 years of service would be good. And that's for BOTH sides! Of course they'll never put that legislation forth because unlike every other job in the world the politicians are absolutely raking in the money in their 70s. While I'm dreaming, it would be nice if politicians had some performance-based / at-risk pay that's tied to performance. And I don't mean how much money they can gobble for their state projects, I mean performance as measured by working across the isle and getting things done.

Intel mandatory retirement age is 65. Pat is 61, so either the board has to change the rules or Pat has to be out by 2026.

Aside, doesn't it seem reasonable that politician in US should have a mandatory retirement age? Maybe not 65, but how about 70. These scumbags (on both left and right) get in power and peddle influence and never leave office. It's disgusting.

We all know who has to go! If Pat is going to lay off 30k employees the least he can do is let go of the person responsible for this irresponsible hiring strategy.

He will leave soon. He is weak leader to fire tons of VPs, Sr Director and Director at Intel.

The only problem is when it will happen, then Sandra becomes the interim CEO.. then BAD suddenly gets WORST!!
Hopefully Sandra is retired before Pat leaves.

@eme that's probably how half of mgmt layers justifies their sandbagging. Here's a hint: they actually don't know how to execute.

Hopefully the writing is on the wall for Pat, and he's on notice. One more bad year and he's gone.

If the ship is sinking there’s little cap can do. The ship had struck the iceberg long ago, recall Apple, mcafee, and more.

He will be gone in 2024 as no way they will have ramped Intel 3 and Intel 20A truth will be all exposed.

He's better than the last 3 or 4 we've had. Some might say the bar wasn't too high either.

Board reducing his pay tells me they aren’t very happy with his performance.. Atleast they are realizing they are overpaying him.
