Being redeployed at IBM. I need a job for 2 years before retirement. Which INTEL division should I apply to - to have reasonable chance of 2 years? I'll even earn my pay and for 2 years can teflon jacket shed cr-p thrown my way.

Lol this post is so good.
2 years from retirement? Only way you’re getting in here is as a contractor. And we basically are firing all contractors right now. Wait 1 quarter and they will be desperate for green badge meat.
"Just pray Pat doesn’t have lunch with Elon Musk." .. If he does, which insane asylum is Musk currently drooling in?
Suckers like you are the ones who tarnish the reputation of intel.
This seems fake. iBMer's say RA'ed, not redeployed. There's no redeployment at IBM. Just firings.
All intel groups are slackers paradise. I would say work until you can milk intel for 1hr/day work.
IoTG was slackers paradise.
It's now been dissolved and people are losing their jobs.
Intel is a slacker paradise.
Just pray Pat doesn’t have lunch with Elon Musk.
Many 'clingers' at Intel just collecting large pay check. It's easy to navigate the system and get out of doing any actual real work. Performance reviews are easily 'jacked' by showing your manager the MBOs you completed, that they signed off on... This is largely possible because Intel has armies of people doing redundant or meaningless tasks that don't contribute in the least bit to generating or supporting revenue products.
You're OK, we've been given 2 IBM boomers in our department this year already. With any luck they'll decide to go of their own volition.
