Looking at the number of very naive and borderline imbecile comments we get to witness during Check-ins

The comments are nauseating. They fall into two types:

  1. the b-m licking “I’m super excited” or the even more nauseating “my leadership makes me so proud”.
  2. the queen mamma edicts (yes, most come from females) “This isn’t the place for comments like that” or “you shouldn’t be saying that” or “we need more women on here”

What I'm saying is that despite Katsoudas' terrible acting skills when announcing upcoming layoffs, dozens of people feel urged to compliment her hairdo. Each time I watch a Check-in, I wonder how many people realize we're (sorry, were) a technology company. Folks are more interested in correcting Hispanic vs Latino day than talking about how much market share we're losing to competition and what we're going to do about it.

“Looking at the number of very naive and borderline imbecile comments we get to witness during Check-ins, it seems to be working with a chunk of the employee base.“
Are you saying a lot of the Cisco base fall for the smoke and mirrors from Robbins and Katsoudas. Or that the comment itself is naive.
There are ethics cases opened with Cisco ethics which show clear evidence of discrimination and Cisco HR staff lying during a legal procedure. Those complaints are being ignored. This is legally important as the business code of conduct is contractual for most Cisco employees. The reason I believe for Cisco ignoring is the case is against Cisco HR staff. They got caught out. The issue I have is they won’t own up and explain their actions. If Robbins and Katsoudas are who they say they are, have the courage to admit their mistakes put them right and then we can all move on.

"Katsoudas and Robbins want you to believe they are socially amazing."

Even I am looking for a LR , it may not happen to me on the 12/12. Hopefully I can be LRed at 2023.

I love Cisco and been working here for most of my adult life. Cisco is not the same company I used to be with. But overall Cisco is a generous company I hope Cisco can hire capable person to be the "Leader" role. A leader is not a slave master it sad it toward this way.

Cisco had this process. They ask heads of departments for candidates. Depending on the country the process varies in time, the US is almost instantaneous. In Europe longer, each head should compare their staff and projected business to select at risk candidates. The problem is from internal emails the heads just say John or Jane Doe and HR ask for the justification no comparison well not in the emails I saw. Now the emails I saw showed HR saying on one case the business case does not work and said try again. Now that is targeting and illegal and also against the Cisco code of business conduct, yet HR do nothing. Maybe many companies work this way, however the hypocrisy of Cisco is they claim to be so ethical, they are not, the proof is there and they know it yet Katsoudas and Robbins want you to believe they are socially amazing. They are not. Legally if they break the code of business conduct you may be able to claim material breach of contract. That is a payout.
