Merit Funding

Anybody know what funding will be this year? Was said in town hall it will be higher but that says nothing given pitiful 2% funding last year.

The merit baseline I think was confirmed to be 3% per latest compensation prep meetings. No answer on entity rating that effects bonus until after the earnings report this Friday.

Are the raises (and salaries) based on wages only or wages and type of position; individual contributor or manager? All else like ranking being equal.

"....Only those that were significantly underpaid got market adjustments."...

Should read: "Only a few of those significantly underpaid got market adjustments."

Promotions is the only place where money is. Only those that were significantly underpaid got market adjustments.

3% is the rumor going around. That's a "demerit" not a merit.

market adjustments of salaries continued in 2022. merit not communicated yet but 3 to 3.3% is a good estimate. promotions are where the better increases are. promotion requests have already been submitted by managers. if you think you deserve a promotion, you should compare your current job description with the next level up description in your area. highlight the key differences and begin looking for how you could begin doing "new work"/ additional responsibilities. begin having discussions with your manager and be willing to take on that "new work" in 2023 so your manager has good talking points why a promotion is deserved when their boss asks who should be promoted.

Haven't heard yet. Hoping since they did away with Bravo monetary, that it actually will be rolled into RRP. Time will tell.

Sadly I think you are right that it won't be much. I'd put the over/under at 3%. Even though there has been roughly 15% inflation in the last 2 years.

I do not think it has been released yet. I would guess probably 2.5 to 3%. Nothing major but still enough to for leadership to say, "See we did something and hear you". I would not expect anything like 4 or 5%. No chance imo.

Probably will be 2.01%. I have applications out for new positions as you can’t get ahead unless you change organizations.
