It doesn't seem that great to me... but it isn't downright terrible either, I think.

Just curious……josh Halliburton….does anyone else remember the HUGE scandal involving the Halliburton Corp??
Might have something to do with our quality….just saying..
Think about Georges Besse
that's a good example
Let them send our jobs to India and Mexico!
At some point they will have no US market simply because middle class will be gone!
An MBA guy looks at 13 month report and his next job is in 24 months!
But as a country once we loss engineering and manufacturing we will be buying from China !
Best of luck to our useless congress (D and R )
@apd+1jXFsNFh I do not know how much KOOL AID you drink. JF cannot be trusted. He has not demonstrated what is defined as leadership. His press conference with the investors the one where he states "WE HAVE TOO MANY PEOPLE" then a few weeks back he brags about hiring 9k engineers in Mexico. LIE #1.
Neither JF nor DF has answered questions form the NA employees about the future of Ford Blue staffing. There are NA management that are going down to Mexico to set up organizations to handle certain commodities. BTW those are your jobs. Not an issue about too many heads but Money. So now you know how the UAW feels. If JF or DF had courage (which I doubt) they would tell the NA troops a timeline & plan.
Second item DF resume has many RED FLAGS with regards to time on the job. So that is a major concern. JF his accomplishments are still nowhere to be seen. but according to him he is a legend in his own mind. A car guy. Sorry JF but your no product guy. you are a political animal. The troops do not trust you. you are not liked. And you lie.

morale stinks. Ford is a disgrace. Farley is a clown. People who worked hard and delivered results have been separated or forced into retirement based on age and cost cutting due to their pensions. It's obviously made me angry to read comments criticizing lazy workers and people that were called irrelevant. Shameful. Lesson learned from the last few months, you are all meaningless at Ford. Farley is nothing but a pawn for the Ford family to protect their profits by eliminating ' people first'. Do your homework on current leadership and question what did they accomplish at previous companies and what have they done to improve Ford. More layoffs? Damn right more are coming, Farley wants to see the money and if you and your team aren't contributing, prepare for a PEP or another round of SIRP. Big target on Ford Next, time to say au revoir FLV!
@ofj+1jXFsNFh I've seen hostage videos more convincing that Jim's speech today. He needs to learn how to stop being so obvious about his reading of prepared remarks. It was a stark contrast to BF's style which is much more off the cuff.
In my department (VeSCRC) overall morale is pretty good but of course there are a select few who bring things dow a bit. I do understand other departments may not be so satisfying to work within. Hopefully our current transformation will spread the good out amongst the other less fortunate departments.......
Of course that person is trolling, but LL4, LL5s are in the habit of kissing up all day. When the day is over, they know they are full of it.
@ofj+1jXFsNFh
I do have to admit, your version of trolling is unique. What I don't understand is how some people think your comments aren't anything but.
If today's Town Hall did not motivate your excitement level for Ford's future, I do not know what would. You probably should look for a different company to work for. The discussions from our leadership today were all morale boosting with the only exception being the sincere talk Jim Farley had about quality. That aside, I found Doug Field's discussion the most appealing. But what he said was nothing new, you all should have heard the content about data and how we use it before, this is about our company transformation and direction.
Down the drain like douggies mindblowing ideas
@OP. People have stopped talking about lay offs. It is still in the back of everyone's minds, but I noticed people no longer speculate openly about it. It seems there are not enough rumors going around to feed the fears, but I am sure sooner than later we'll be back to DEFCON 1.
However, the damage is already done. The moral is on the floor, and everybody is taking their sweet time to do any task or project. In general, the volume of work is low, and I no longer feel others being energetic about delivering projects and solutions. LL6s don't care much about meetings now, even skipping some of them, or cutting them short. I saw a decreased in the number of meetings as well, which means people want to be left alone.
All in all, I feel the "manglement" did an excellent job at destroying this company. We haven't seen yet the full consequences of the wrong policies pushed by BF/JF. All these recalls (15 million vehicles) and losses is just the reflection of the changes made in 2019. The full impact of all the stupidity done by the upper management will be felt in a couple of years, and it may be big enough to doom the company.
Pretty low. Farley has lost the trust of the workforce and nothing will improve until he is gone.
Guess it depends on the team & skill team area. Moral was pretty bad in Ford E after the surprise late April SISP actions in my former area, Platform Enablement, doesn’t seem to have picked up for the few I still are in contact with - got worse with more cuts to agency and purchased service which they heavily relied on.
Time will tell; however since the rumors and actions that support the rumors (cutting programs, moving more Jobs overseas, Ford Land selling buildings) keep happening, no one can rest nor feel safe.
Still wishing all those left a Merry Christmas! Find ways to enjoy the season regardless…
Morale is very low from what I’m seeing.
It will be great until your head is secretly written on the chopping block
Silence is acceptance until it hurts.
Low, Lower, LOL
Not sure where you are but people are like the walking dead at Ford Pro
