Carryover Vacation

Do you get paid for any vacation you do not take when you resign? If yes is that true for carryover vacation also?

You get paid for all earned vacation (carryover and regular). Because they changed vacation from receiving all days on on Jan 1st of each year to earning them quarterly, the days you get paid will depend on what you have earned.

Previous post not true.

I was paid for my remaining vacation and my carry over vacation following separation.

Carryover vacation does not get paid when you separate from the company.

Also the new policy just recently announced screws you over on regular vacation which gets allocated on a monthly basis at time of separation instead of the full year vacation you used to be owed.

HR looks for any little way to cause pain and suffering to the employee.

Yes Vacation is paid out, not sure about carryover. The real question is have do you setup a "benefits admin" account?
