Some of the old timers have great knowledge. The newcomers were hired because they were to be someone else's hands. The old timers did everything.

The pension loss is the interest rate genius- has nothing to do with T.
Why would T give anyone this deal when people are willing to work for free?
This "great package" is only a dream.
T can do what they wish now. People that lost 40% of their pension basically paid the company that money to keep their job. Sigh.

Company desperately needs to offload overpaid CWA techs…but the contract caps layoffs. What is the solution? Perhaps an offer with some sweeteners thrown in could convince these contractually protected old timers to retire. Common sense.
