Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Lack of employees is not my problem anymore

I've done so much overtime that now I'm starting to feel stupid for exhausting myself so much. I should have left long time ago. HON uses the fact that employees fear losing their jobs to make them work very long hours and subordinate their personal lives to this company.

I've had enough of that and I'm leaving. I hope that the leadership will finally realize that the lack of employees should be their top priority to solve.

I quit two weeks ago! Best decision I ever made.

I am not Honeywell’s high paid slave. Leadership needs to pull their heads out of their as--s.

I am going to go live my life now instead of spending it working 60+ hours for a company who will just lay me off without even thinking about it. I am going to spend those extra hours I gained with family, friends and working on my side business.

Jobs are plentiful, good luck.

We’ve been on Mandatory weekend overtime since July. It’s no longer my problem either. They can fire me if they want to I don’t care. I’m not going to work anymore weekends.

Lack of employees was never my problem. The folks making the big bucks need to deal with that.

Time to go Island Time instead of saving Honeywell’s you know what every time the customer wants answers. Best of luck to PR. Sorry HW did this to you. We are all going to also go on Island Time as well , since HW thought hosing US workers was such a brilliant ID

Good for you to finally decide to pull the plug and get out

When we are 6 feet under, no one care about the quantity of hours we slaved away at work (gobs of OT). Life outside of work trumps work.

Next up will be the time card audit where they falsely acuse you of mischarging,
take their bonuses back, and walk you out the door.
You will have no recourse. Seen it over and over and over.

Alternatively you could take Jerry Smith's advice -- Never Trying Never Fails
Be a VP in no time.
