So many questions but no answer

like everything that hr does, its kept vague by design so as to reward those without merit while punishing those who actually work and care. that and hr needs to do something every now and then to justify its existence

Better than keeping the existing structure. Job Codes and the Band level made no sense in my opinion.

At least I don't have to hear about "I got to E band by 28" (followed by smirk)

Is the banding system finally being replaced? That must terrifying for the folks that have been fine tuning their browne nosing skills to get to the next band for the last years?

Maybe the new system will finally work based on what you are contributing to the company instead of who you know?

But then again, looking at history, it's probably going to be the same cleverly disguised and marketed as something new. Same as all that product that's sitting on the shelf.
