Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Bold concept: How about the leadership of WIM be transparent and honest??

It’s a new way of leading, I know, to let your employees in on “The Plan”. Information is power and that’s how you hold on to your power: not by being good at your jobs, but by keeping the big picture in your inner circle and then treating us like we’re id--ts because we incredulously aren’t “in the know”.

Is that how you run a business? A business where you depend on your employees to do the right thing, but you don’t hold yourself to the same high standards? We should be trustworthy and operate with integrity, but you get to lie and plot against us in the shadows?

Here’s what we know:
We know CN is retiring soon.
We know you kept it quiet that you were laying off Senior Traders.
We know you’re moving people around.
We know “Big changes are coming.”

Let’s consider taking the high road and making the big announcement now, rather than steadily building on the distrust which already exists between employees and management?

WIM is not a total mess. I’ve been cleaning up as much as I can. My two lethargic supervisors, Abbott & Costello are still bickering over who’s on first what’s on second, So I continue doing what I know best.

No where in the OP’s post does he say “All of WIM is a mess”. Thanks for attempting to play!

Personally, I think all employees and shareholders should be demanding honesty and transparency from Wells Fargo Senior Leadership.

The Feds and the Senate Banking Committee would agree!

WIM has been incredibly shady as of late. Couldn’t agree more

Bull! Anybody can be a weasel. The object is to be as difficult for your supervisor as possible. That way, you’ll get moved around to different supervisors. Finally, settle down when you have a leader and not just a stooge supervisor. No point talking to a stooge supervisor who basically just collects a paycheck every couple of weeks. I recall having two or three true leaders for supervisors in this company. Great times. These days, just a bunch of lethargic stooges. I can wait them out.

Ask appropriate questions of your managers in meetings It’s a sign of intelligence to pick up on the change that is all around you and to want to understand the future of your department and your business.

This isn’t Christmas, where as a child you were afraid you wouldn’t get any presents if you told your parents you no longer believed in Santa Claus. We should all be carrying ourselves as adults.

You again? So you get laid off and all of WIM is a mess? I mean a lot needs to be fixed but you need to guide your anger a little better. Maybe take up cycling or something

The corporate executive stooges don’t want to keep you in the know. You are clearly expendable. For example, when you bring your team and all your clients over to WF, they then become WF clients. You are then expendable. I see it time and time, again. The strategy to implement is ensuring you have devoted clients, devoted specifically to you and your team. That being said, when you leave WF, your clients know to leave with you. Of course, your parting agreement specifically says you cannot attempt to take your clients with you. The workaround is to plan at least a year in advance.

There isn’t a real trader on F3 in STL. Barry knows they are all review and release monkeys or figureheads doing whatever they can to be relevant. WFA needs a serious housecleaning in the Lou
