Workday - What does "Processing" mean for candidate stage?

When applying internally, I saw the Candidate Stage in Workday go from:

Interview --> Processing

I had the phone screen and real interview already. For past applications, I've never seen 'Processing'.

So obviously I'm wondering if 'Processing ' is good or bad...?

Or is this just a formal reflection that the hiring manager is deciding, but hasn't decided yet?

(I know, I know, just wait until I actually hear something. But.....you know how it is when you're anxious to leave a bad situation. You're always looking for any little sign of a status update - good or bad.)

Mine went from interview to processing three days after the actual interview, then I got an offer by phone about after a week it sat at processing in WorkDay. Went from Processing to Hire about a week after they let me know I passed the background checks.

I got my offer after 2 days from the day the status changed to Processing from Interview. I can confirm that if your status moves from Interview to Processing, you would be getting an offer very soon.

May I know if you got an offer after the change of status. I am in a similar situation. HR called me up and said I am selected. My status changed from Interview to Processing as well. However HR has not been responsive since then. So I am a bit anxious.

Processing means an offer is going to be extended to you, otherwise you’d be stuck on interview until you get the decline. Congratulations, keep us posted

It will show processing until the offer is extended and the declines have been done. It doesn’t indicate to you which it will be. Depending on the position there may be a delay due to a background check being done. Good luck!

How long did you wait between HR interview and hiring manager interview?

Same thing happened to me recently. I had an offer within hours.

It can't mean that. Like I said in the original post, I've already interviewed and this is the week the hiring manager said the decision would be made.

Ah well. I'll just wait it out and hope things move along. Maybe someone hit the wrong button in Workday to generate that status.

It just means your application was received. Chances are you will receive an email for a prescreen phone interview with the recruiter.
