Shareholders have no idea what's going on here

The impact of the actions taken this quarter won't be felt by the shareholders until the next quarter when customer start deconverting or worse suing. The street has no clue what's going on on the inside and how that will impact the banking side of the business.

Always a good sign when we are arguing about which clients a contractually stuck, rather than trying to be better than the competition.

Card contracts are lengthy and difficult to exit without penalty. Merchant contracts are easier to ditch. Some are just one year and if no minimums are required then the merchant can simply stop using Fiserv while contracting elsewhere. So if clients are going to bolt it will most likely be merchants and card clients n their renewal period.
