Anyone know when we would find out whether we were promoted? And when any salary adjustments for a promotion would take effect?

Everyone I know that got a promotion, heard. If you have not, your supervisor does not have the ba--s to tell you that you did not get.
So if one hasn't heard any news by today (25th) then it's probably a no on the promotion?

Layoff trolls, it helps to have access to insights where we can get them. Why would you care?
I heard that they discuss that on the layoff boards, but not on this site.
just gotten mine. is it only me, or is the going rate nowadays for grade-bump raises south of 5%?
Saw a timeline that showed if you didn't get good news by today, you get bad news on Friday.

Nov. 1 is the effective date annually, so I’d expect communications to happen this week or next.

@cxs - comparing notes because you were already informed of your own promotion by your supervisor? Or are you a supervisor and found out about promos for your team already?
We were comparing notes at work all week. It seemed like a pretty generous year for promos with quite a few surprises on our floor. This seems aligned with messages from MW and RM that compensation is on the way up up up. Overall, a good place to be!
