Attrition rate is way too low. 4-day RTO will be announced next month.

We were three days in office before Covid and have been four days for over a year

@128+1jgm0gc2f, Of course, there aren't enough desks in the office buildings. Wells Fargo is expecting further reduction in headcounts.

My personal belief…WF has sold buildings in several hub cities, so even with flex seating, I don’t think there are enough desks for 4 days per week RTO across the enterprise. Some teams maybe yes, but I doubt this will happen in the short-term enterprise-wide. Just not seeing the logistics.

Few left from team for fully remote job and there will more exit after bonus. Charlie can sit in corner with his pants down and do all the work. Those who stay with him can hold his pants for ever. Chase CEO is a stupid guy like E Musk , Talking nonsense.

May even be five now, since Charlie will do as Jamie does. See below from this morning:

I guess we should be happy it’s not 7 days a week. /s

You know a group of executives are a complete failure when they actually invest time to sit around and review the locations of entry level employees in a company with 190k employees. Good flipping grief. These guys couldn't be more incompetent if they were plants from other companies sent here to sabotage WF from within.

Sr. Manager here in CIB, had to warn several of my people for the first time in Dec. before the holidays. Came down from my boss, a MD in HY. She told me hammer coming down this month.

attendance is "minimum" 3 days per week, and has always been managerial discretion to require more. It won't be at an enterprise level, but you can expect that it's one tactic that will be used more frequently to tighten down since compliance is still a problem. The attendance reports are reviewed at the OC level monthly and in my OC, compliance is running in the low 80s.

There will be an immediate focus starting this month on people who are chronically under 2 days on average, and it will be managed aggressively with formal warning and then termination if not cured and stay cured.

You must be in HR.

Desperately trying. Won’t work.

I always appreciate when people post stuff, but I appreciate it more when they have a source behind it and not an assumption. There’s not much you can do if we go to four days a week but comply or find another job. Three days a week seems like enough to me, but I’m just a lonely person on the totem pole.

Lowered quality of our lives are at the mercy of top executives. They can make any type of decisions as they wish because they can. Things like RTO don't bother them because many of them are exempt from RTO, and they can work from home as they wish. Besides, who cares as long as they keep making millions of dollars and getting a ton of corporate perks. Charlie is laughing at us from his private yacht, he is no better than Jeff Bezos.

Source, pls? Director here in CB, heard this rumor like a year ago but can’t seem to find anyone who can confirm. I do know that non compliance with RTO will no longer be tolerated, folks termed after 2nd warning beginning at some point soon.
