We were told in a meeting back in Dec that the contractors will be going away. Tech
Were these high level contractors or low level ones? When outsourcing stops working (as it usually does) the contractor will swap out the "low level" (coders) with the high level (engineers). or offshored with h1bs. I have seen this over the last 15 years. AI and going SAASless with agentic processes will be the next buzz.

Yes, they are hired to be fired.
