Got a job offer from Wellsfargo

Should I join Wellsfsrgo? I heard they are toxic. The offer is good though.

WF pays better. Jump ship. When you have same awful working conditions here as there , at least do it for a significantly better paycheck AND hybrid.

When WF does 5 days, jump again. And bump higher pay again.

Many of us remember how things use to be prior to being absorbed by Wells Fargo so to us everything from employee benefits, to raises, to working conditions, have all gone to cr-p in our eyes. However, if your future WF boss appears to be a good one, and the pay bump is at least 20% then I say go for it. Just remember that Charlie copies Jamie all the time. In fact we all believe that Charlie wants Jamie's job when Jamie retires. So if Jamie does something, you better believe that Charlie will implement the same thing.

Worked there in 2019 and they laid me off early 2021. A bunch of us. Trigger happy over there. Waste of my time.

To all saying JPMC is the best bank, from a tech perspective C1 is the best bank. I've worked at all C1, JPMC and MS. C1's tech stack is top notch. Though they are on a PIP rally now.

I know many people who moved to WF, but I do not know if they like it there. Some moved 2 years ago and are still there.

I work at WF, if not a big jump in money or in boosting your resume, I wouldn't do it. Our leadership is not friendly to current employees, so unless you plan to jump back out in a year or two, internal transfers and promotions no longer come with raises, 401k isn't matched until year end, and constant layoffs every other Tuesday. The culture here is toxic as heck unless you work in I&P, leadership loves you then since you are cheap. Maybe this is the same at JPM, but if not, it's definitely things you want to consider.

It depends. How do you feel about the manager at WF? What about the team? Did you get to speak with your peers? Are you going learn new skills there? Is the title better not just the salary? Does the title matter to you?

Jpmc may not be perfect. But it is far far better than any other bank out there. Stay put at Jpmc and try to switch teams if you don’t like your current team. Unless it is a major jump in pay ( after tax) it’s not worth moving to WF.

Wells might su-k... but there is a reason all of upper management seems to be jumping ship at Chase and moving over there
