I was surprised by how many remote jobs are available. I’m guessing each one has hundreds, if not thousands, of applicants, but they’re out there. I guess not all ELTs are packed with id--ts who prioritize commercial real estate and micromanagement over a productive and happy workforce.

There are 1000’s of applicants for each and some are fake job posts to collect resumes. Or are for H1B body shops who import from India.
Best way is to apply through company’s career site or through someone you know.
Be careful. Some remote jobs are scams.
If you are exploring the possibility of a remote job, do everything you can to verify its legit before giving out too much personal information.

My customers and clients are all over the world. Which country should I report to?
Plenty of them. Hope you check the right boxes. Btw I submitted the exact same resume to a company for same job, minor tweaks, but exactly the same. On one I said I was a white male, the other black male. Guess which one got the reject and which one got asked to interview? Think that’s not happening, it absolutely is. I started submitting more as a black male and I’m getting interview requests. Facts.
If going to work everyday gives me job security, then I’m going to do it! It’s hard enough for people my age, race and gender to stay employed.
News flash- it doesn’t. If our headcount doesn’t drop down to or below Verizon’s due to RTO, they’ll keep cutting
Most if not all technical jobs are remote. I'm technical and if AT&T wants me in the office, I'll just go to another company that allows remote work. I'm designated as NVW. No, not all job listings are fake and if I apply for jobs they contact me, but I see no need to leave without them paying me severance. Hiring managers say fake job postings led to boosted revenue, morale, and productivity and alleviate employee work concerns. They indicate “company growth” as one of the top reasons behind fake job posting strategy. So, you know these fakers are out there.
