Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Boxed in as a P3

Reviewed 31 internal postings, with opportunity graph, I'm a strong candidate due to current and prior WF experience. The openings less than three weeks old - 3 to Manila, 5 US, and the remainder India. Despite experience, earning the certifications asked and supporting our work culture it's demoralizing not to be eligible to apply for a majority of these roles.

There is no opportunity to move up when the vast majority of the jobs are located in India. I hope they start opening branches in India because the US isn’t going to have any need for banks soon. If you don’t have money, you don’t need a bank.

Experience at Wells is a disqualifier in the eyes of current leadership. If you're a current employee, leaving is the only option. If I was a former WF trying to return, I'd leave WF off my resume. Better chances that way.

That’s the way Chainsaw Chuck wants it. He wants you frustrated and demoralized, so that you leave instead of holding out for your severance package.
