I am a recent experienced hire (<1yr XOM), I've been told to contact "an Admin Asst" to facilitate a Townhall I'm hoping to coordinate. However, no one seems to be aware of who our "Admin" is, rather, I am routed to some ticketing system (didn't we ALREADY have enough of those?), that feels more like an impersonal robot. Since we have many upcoming events to coordinate in 1/2Q23, I was expecting to have an actual human to work with me, throughout the coordination of these.
It's my understanding, that I submit a ticket and it will be routed to one of several potential individuals, while I sit, wait and hope to be contacted in a timely fashion AND that the person who contacts me will be competent. I have already referenced the org chart, which was a dead-end.
Dare I say, have the Admins been run off too? I am accustomed to having an Admin that works closely with the group, on many aspects of the operations. I assume that's not the XOM way? If this is the case, that certainly doesn't provide me with a great sense of stability.
Maybe I should see if DW's Admin is busy? Guarantee, he's not submitting tickets when he needs a hot coffee LOL
